How to Apply Your HeyTats Tattoo for Long-Lasting Results

Step 1: Prep Like a Pro
Start with our Primer Wipe to clean and prep the area where you want your tattoo. Rub the wipe on your skin for about 30 seconds, ensuring the area is clean and oil-free. Let it air-dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Step 2: Place Your Ink
Carefully peel off the backing from your tattoo and press the sticky side onto your skin in your chosen spot. Smooth out the design as you go, ensuring there are no air bubbles. Once it’s firmly in place, remove the outer border to finalize the placement.

Step 3: Let It Set
Leave the tattoo on your skin for a full hour without moving or peeling it. Once the hour is up, gently remove the tattoo entirely. Your design will start to develop over the next 24 hours, turning into a rich black or dark blue color, depending on your skin tone.

Step 4: Post-Application Care
To ensure your HeyTats design looks its best:
• Avoid sweating or getting the area wet for at least 6 hours after application.
• Sleep with clothing over the tattoo on the first night to protect it.
• Keep your skin hydrated and moisturized to prolong the tattoo’s life.

Step 5: Removal Made Simple
Your tattoo will naturally fade over time, but if you’re ready to remove it sooner, use a gentle exfoliant or our specially designed Tattoo Remover to speed up the process.
